Sending and Managing Data in Reptrics
Objective
This article will detail out the multiple options available for you to get the relevant data into Reptrics.
What data is pushed/pulled to Reptrics ?
Once you have finalized the Account ID and User ID, there are multiple options available to you. There are two kinds of data that your Customer Success/Account Management teams require in Reptrics to manage their portfolio. They are,
Product usage events
Account, Users, Subscription attributes

Where do I get the JavaScript snippet and API key?
JavaScript snippet and API key is available from the Developer Console in Reptrics. Follow the steps below to get the JavaScript snippet and/or the API Key.
API Key
To get the API key, navigate to Settings(Gear icon) > Developer Console > API KEY
JavaScript Snippet
To get JavaScript snippet, navigate to Settings(Gear icon) > Developer Console > JS CODE
What are the different ways to get data into Reptrics?
As Product Developers / Engineers, you can:
Create and update Accounts, Users and Subscriptions in Reptrics. We recommend integration and/or using our APIs for this.
Send us user actions taken by a user in your product to Reptrics. We recommend using our JavaScript library for this.
Map the unique Account ID and User ID to all the third-party tools Reptrics will integrate with.

NOTE: Account, User and Subscription attributes can be imported to Reptrics via CSV upload too. Reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager who will enable this for you. |
